I haven’t kept up with Nina Agdal’s love life since the Adam Levine/Leonardo DiCaprio years. Obviously, this young woman has a terrible picker – the thing with Adam Levine ended when he went away for a week and eloped with Behati Prinsloo, basically. The thing with Leo ended when she aged out of the Leonardo Girlfriend Experience in her mid-20s. Nina is 26 years old now, and she’s been dating Christie Brinkley’s son, Jack Brinkley-Cook, for a little while? I have no idea how long they’ve been dating, but they’re somewhat established as a couple and people know about them (even if it came as news to me). Well, funny story: Nina just said the quiet part out loud:
Nina Agdal has a confession to make about her boyfriend Jack Brinkley-Cook. Over the weekend, Agdal, 26, shared a selfie from a romantic outing with Brinkley-Cook, 23, and raved over their “comfortable relationship.”
“Went on a date with Jack last night and actually tried to be hot. Woke up this morning like myself again, hungover with a mask on. Feels good to be in a comfortable relationship,” Agdal wrote.
While many fans praised the couple for being relationship goals, one follower, in particular, wasn’t buying it.
“B honest. If he was broke. U wouldn’t b with him,” the fan wrote in the comment section. Agdal jokingly responded with, “probably not.”
I haven’t heard anything about Jack Brinkley-Cook, so I have no idea if he’s actually making his own money or if the whole “he is rich” thing is because his parents have money. Peter Cook is quite successful, isn’t he? And Christie and Peter seem like the kind of parents who would give their kids trust funds. Oh, lord, I just looked at Jack’s Instagram. What fresh hell is this? He’s totally giving off “rich bro who lives on daddy’s money” vibes. If Being Roofied In Aspen had an Instagram, it would be this. Anyway, even if Nina was joking – lol, she wasn’t – it still brings up an important point: none of these people would date someone poor.
