99 Percent, the Bay Area pop-hop duo, are back with another dance floor smash hit, this time teaming up with global star Flo Rida.

‘Cake’ is their latest offering, and from the opening bars we were instantly hooked on this feel-good track. It’s a definite earworm, and we’ve already had it on repeat for most of the day!

Not only have 99 Percent, who we recently interviewed, teamed up with a superstar rapper/singer. It turns out that another global star, Charlie Puth, also co-wrote the track.

‘Cake’ has all the ingredients to be a success, and we’re pretty sure that it’s going to be the track to propel 99 Percent to even dizzier heights.

99 Percent are fast on the rise. Co-managed by Nick Cannon, the duo have signed to Atlantic Records & Artist Publishing Group. Their 2015 single ‘Does Ya Moma Know? #HEYNOW‘ was synced with ABC’s Blackish and The Honest Company‘s diaper campaign and they also launched a #HeyNowChallenge on Musical.ly for it. The campaign received over 1700 entries, including support from Jacob Sartorius and Liane V.

Earlier this year, they released ‘Till Ya Legs Hurt’ and also toured with Silento and iLOVEMemphis on Live Nation’s ‘Let’s Dance’ tour. The duo also garnered even more support from attending this year’s VidCon.

Next year is set to be even more exciting for the duo, with an EP due sometime in early 2017.
